Krista Szalc, Au.D., F-AAA

Owner/Audiologist

In-house audiologist and owner, Dr. Krista Szalc, Au.D., F-AAA, has been providing hearing health care services at the Hornell & Dansville Hearing Centers for the past 12+ years.  Dr. Szalc completed her bachelor’s in communication sciences and disorders from SUNY Fredonia and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Towson University near Baltimore, Maryland.  Dr. Szalc’s career has included 20+ years of experience in diagnostic audiometry for adults as well as pediatrics, complete vestibular testing and rehabilitation, ABR/ECOG testing and extensive hearing aid dispensing and servicing.  Dr. Szalc also spent four years providing product and software support and training to other hearing health care professionals while employed by a Swiss hearing aid manufacturer.  She currently resides on her rural farm in her hometown of Alfred, New York, with her husband and four homeschooled children.
